The Rooney’s Golf Foundation started hosting the Armed Forces Appreciation Breakfast in 2018 at the Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, FL. This patriotic event honors those who served and are serving to protect our country. The program includes breakfast or lunch, patriotic songs, a keynote speaker, and a preview of the upcoming Army-Navy Football Game. Past keynote speakers include former Congressman Thomas J. Rooney, Vietnam Veteran/former Pittsburgh Steeler, Rocky Bleier, former Naval Academy and Football Player, Napoleon McCallum, and in 2022 former Pittsburgh Steeler and Army Ranger Captain, Alejandro Villanueva.

 

Our previous luncheon was held on December 5, 2023 with our guest speaker, Richard Y. Newton III, Lieutenant General, U.S. Air Force (Ret.).
